A selection Kyle Schellinger’s half-scale historical costumes will be displayed at the Fragments II exhibit, part of the 2023 Prague Quadrennial. This special project, curated by award winning scenographer Klára Zieglerová, displayed scene models, costume designs, props or miniatures, which become fully-fledged artworks. These artefacts illustrate the thoughts and intentions of superior work, however, they create their own context, a new dimension and aesthetically artistic value of original perspective and profound depth. The opportunity to view a scene, design, props or visuals on a miniature scale perpetuates human fascination with gaining a certain dominance over the whole and being able to study all its fine details.
